It was the 1st of September 1979 when 25 year old teacher and PhD student Alison Morris decided to go for a short after dinner walk to the River Stour not far from her parents home in Ramsey, Essex. She made it no more than 70 yards down a small country path when she was approached from behind and savagely stabbed to death. There were no witnesses, no clues and no murder weapon and 39 years later, Alison’s death still remains unsolved.
